Northcote Theatre acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation, the traditional custodians of this land, and pay our respect to the Wurundjeri Elders, past and present.

We ask that all attendees please leave the premises quietly to avoid disturbing our local residents

Northcote Theatre is a safe and inclusive space for all our guests and attendees

Any kind of discrimination, harassment or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated. This behaviour will result in the removal from the venue

Northcote Theatre is a licensed 18+ venue. This means no patrons U18 will be permitted entry even if accompanied by an adult. Valid ID must be shown upon entry to the venue even if you have a pre-purchased ticket

The right of admission is reserved and is subject to this code of conduct, liquor licensing laws and the terms and conditions agreed to at time of purchase

Responsible Service of Alcohol legislation applies to all patrons and ticket holders

You may have your bag checked upon entry to the venue by one of our licensed security guards. Prohibited items include but are not limited to: alcohol, textas, paint and/or similar items, glass, plastic bottles, weapons

Strictly no smoking, vaping. There are designated smoking areas outside of the venue

Professional audio and video recording equipment is not permitted. All media requests are at the discretion of the promoter.

The building is fit with CCTV footage and by entering you consent to being filmed by our CCTV systems

15% Surcharge will be applied to food and drink purchases on Public Holidays, the venue reserves the right to alter prices

Northcote Theatre is a general admission and standing room only unless otherwise specified

Wheelchair access and toilets – The venue is wheelchair accessible and has a DDA toilet located in the auditorium approx. 7m from designated barrier viewing. Please book on Moshtix then contact us before the show should you wish to reserve a space in this area.

Accessible entrance – The venue’s accessibility entrance is via Bastings Street. The entrance on High Street has 2 steps upon entry.

Companion cards – The venue accepts companion cards. Please contact tanya@northcotetheatre.com.au prior to show day to arrange a companion ticket. You do not need to purchase a companion ticket on Moshtix.

Special Request Seating – The venue is standing room only, however if you are unable to stand for extended periods of time, please book via Moshtix then get in touch with tanya@northcotetheatre.com.au.

Drop off / Pick up – There are areas available for drop off and pick up on Bastings Street and on High Street.

Moshtix is the official ticket seller for all concerts at Northcote Theatre. Tickets purchased from an unofficial reseller or through an online marketplace cannot be guaranteed as valid tickets and you may be denied entry into the event.

You can access your ticket online by logging into your Moshtix account where you can manage and download your ticket ready for entry into the show.

All shows at Northcote Theatre are Licenced 18+. Every attendee must be able to present one of the following ID’s to gain entry: valid driver’s license, passport, keypass or proof of age card

Public Transport:
Tram 86 Toward RMIT/Plenty Road from the City; Stop 31-Northcote Town Hall/HighStreet

Westgarth Railway Station, 990m (Hurstbridge line)
Merri Railway Station, 650m (Mernda line)
Northcote Station, 700m (Mernda line)

Parking:
We are located in a residential area with mostly permit parking on the surrounding streets. There is free parking at Northcote Plaza which is a 15 minute walk away.

There are 140 bicycle parks available in our bike valet via Wimble street

All Northcote Theatre show timings allow for arrival and departure via public transport located on High street

Where public transport is not feasible, we encourage pick up and drop offs on High street to be respectful of our neighbours

We encourage use of ride share services such as Placie and Uber

Northcote Theatre is a completely cashless venue. There is no cash kept on the premises.
